Making a donation
Feel free to send us pictures of any items you wish to donate we are always very thankful of you thinking of us, please note we may not be able to take everything and may need to politely decline.
We will reply as soon as we can to emails, please be patient if there are small delays. There may be a waiting time up to a minimum of 2-3 weeks for collections.
Collections and drop-offs
We can collect large items of furniture in our van. When offering an item through e-mail, a member of the shop staff will contact you to arrange a date for collection. We make our deliveries and collections between 9am and 1pm most weekdays, but cannot make a precise time to be with you. The van crew may refuse to take an item if it is too heavy for them to lift.
Small items of furniture and bric-a-brac can be dropped off at the shop during opening hours, and also larger items of furniture can be dropped off after making arrangements with shop staff.
Some important information about donations
We’d love to be able to re-home all donations, but due to space and legal requirements, there are some items we cannot accept.
If the item is upholstered it must have a fire safety label attached unless the original upholstery is older than 1950
We cannot accept double, larger or bunkbeds (we can take single/divan beds, space permitting)
All electricals must have a CE label
We cannot accept mattresses unless they are unmarked and 'as new'
We cannot accept wall or ceiling lights
We cannot accept white goods
